哈達瑜伽的英文字面上,Hatha的ha代表右脈,是太陽和行動,tha是左脈,是月亮與冷靜,瑜伽則意指結合、相應,因此當這兩個相對且相反的波流於中脈合而為一時,就是哈達瑜伽。哈達瑜伽中體位法練習搭配呼吸能幫助練習者身體的內在能量達到平衡。
